The Story
Week 71 through 14
vs week 67-0, 1,057 points for, and a 341-point differential that makes the rest of the league look like they're playing a different game — Slam is operating on a different plane of existence right now. The Chase-Lamb-Jefferson-Taylor core is absolutely suffocating, and a 139-77 beatdown of Slippyfist this week was just the latest victim added to the pile.
“The only undefeated team in the league at 6-0, and Slam-I-Am-69 is doing it with 918 points for — that's 28 more than the next-closest team.”
lmillz89 has rattled off back-to-back wins after that Week 5 loss to the penguin menace, going 140-127 over Kayes of Thunder this week to stay firmly in the hunt at 6-1. Kenneth Walker III landing in Kansas City and continuing to produce is a sneaky-good dynasty situation, and Zay Flowers quietly anchoring that WR room gives Miller Time legitimate contender energy.
“Five wins, a positive trend of 2. 6 points above season average, and a 144.”
Okay fine, I'm putting myself at #3, which means I'll promptly go 0-2 and everyone will screenshot this blurb and send it to me. But three straight wins, a +5.09 scoring trend, and JSN sitting at 9,994 KTC at the top of my roster make it hard to argue otherwise. Tetairoa McMillan and Malik Nabers as the WR2 and WR3 of the future is a genuinely disgusting thought.
“I'm putting myself at #3 because I genuinely cannot help it — a 4-2 record with back-to-back wins over Kayes of Thunder and Coke(r) Fiends, and a trend running 9 points above my season average says I'm getting hot.”
A 93-point clunker against Substation Squad in Week 7 dropped fatherofben to 4-3, which feels like a betrayal given that he was posting 173-point weeks just two weeks ago. The roster still has the highest total KTC value in the league at 85,489, and Josh Allen alone is a trump card for whenever he needs to pull him into a flex or SF spot.
“The highest-scoring team in the league at 942 points for — yes, higher than the 6-0 team — and fatherofben has won three straight, including a 173.”
Two straight losses and back-to-back weeks under 90 points is not the vibe for a 5-2 team that had real top-three energy a few weeks ago — getting run over 139-77 by the Penguins in Week 7 was ugly. Jahmyr Gibbs (9,999 KTC) is the best running back in this league, but the Amon-Ra/Gibbs Detroit stack is vulnerable to the same bad game ruining your whole Sunday.
“Still 5-1, which is absolutely a credit, but a trend running 21 points below season average and a gut-punch 86.”
Substation Squad has quietly won two in a row — including a 122-93 win over Kyler Scullen this week — and the trend is positive at +1.62 above their season average over the last three weeks. Bijan Robinson is an absolute cornerstone, and Luther Burden III and Carnell Tate give this team a legitimately exciting young WR room that will only get better.
“A 3-3 record looks modest, but Substation Squad is trending up — running 4.”
AJ is 4-3 and still somehow managing the heck out of this team with a starter KTC that ranks near the bottom of the league at 31,194 — the fact that he squeaked out a 90-86 win over Slippyfist in Week 6 feels like peak AJ energy. The Mahomes-Purdy QB room is a strength, but when your starters outside of Olave and Garrett Wilson are Antonio Williams and Caleb Douglas, the floor gets real low real fast, as that 74-point Week 7 loss proved.
“AJ squeezed out a 90. 9-86.”
arougeot bounced back with a 105-74 win over House of Cards in Week 7 and the scoring trend is actually creeping upward at +5.8 over the last three weeks, which is encouraging for a 4-3 team that needs some momentum. De'Von Achane, Tyler Warren, and Breece Hall give this roster a real identity once they're healthy and rolling together — the ceiling exists, it just hasn't shown up consistently.
“The 3-3 record masks a team that's trending in the right direction — 6.”
A 165-67 demolition of Coke(r) Fiends in Week 7 is the kind of win that feels good but also raises the question: was that the schedule doing heavy lifting? Still, at 2-5 with the best positive trend in the league over the last three weeks (+9.36), jvcnnll has a roster headlined by Caleb Williams, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, and Drake London that looks a lot more like a mid-tier playoff team than a sub-.500 one.
“On paper this roster is fascinating — Caleb Williams, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, and Drake London are all 26 or younger and represent a serious future core — but at 1-5 with a trend running 4.”
Lamar Jackson sitting at 6,960 KTC but listed as a non-starter tells you everything you need to know about why this 3-4 team is underachieving — aaron4real has firepower, he's just not unlocking it consistently. Losing 140-127 to Miller Time in Week 7 despite putting up a respectable 127 is the story of this team: good enough to beat the weak, not quite enough to beat the strong.
“A 3-3 record but only 103. 2 points in a Week 6 win over Takes Juwan to Know Juwan — you are not beating playoff teams with that output.”
eddiemac0 went 3-4 thanks to a 123-108 win over Q A-Johnston this week, but let's be honest — this roster's starter KTC of 28,211 is one of the lowest in the league and it shows in the point totals. CMC, Jameson Williams, and Bo Nix are a trio that could work if everything clicks, but dropping DeAndre Hopkins and Darius Slayton from the FA pool this week suggests the WR depth chart is getting uncomfortably thin.
“Christian McCaffrey tops the roster at 5,400 KTC value, but at 30 years old on a 2-4 team, that window is closing faster than McCaffrey's injury report clears.”
BertReynolds is 1-6, but don't sleep on this roster — Drake Maye and Ashton Jeanty are two of the most valuable young assets in dynasty and Parker Washington, Ladd McConkey, and Jadarian Price lurk in a deep bench that just needs time. The +12.89 trend is the best scoring trajectory in the league over the last three weeks, and honestly a 108-point week losing to eddiemac0 isn't a moral victory, it's just terrible luck all season long.
“One win and five losses, but don't sleep on this roster — Drake Maye, Ashton Jeanty, Parker Washington, and Ladd McConkey give this team a genuinely elite future, and a trend running 14.”
0-7. We've arrived at the part of the power rankings where I feel genuinely bad, because dpiper's squad isn't as bad as the record — a 115-point week in Week 7 and a +4.96 trend suggest there's life here, even if the wins aren't showing up. Jayden Daniels, Quinshon Judkins, and D'Andre Swift have real upside, but D'Andre Swift on the Bears and Daniels as a non-starter while the team goes 0-7 is a rough combination of bad timing and bad luck.
“The only 0-6 team in the league, and I want to be kind, but Jayden Daniels, Quinshon Judkins, and D'Andre Swift are not exactly sending a message of 'I am competing.”
Todd. Todd, Todd, Todd. 1-6, a -293 point differential, and back-to-back losses of 89 and 67 points make it official — the Coke(r) Fiends are this season's Todd Special. His top KTC asset is Jeremiyah Love at 6,552 — a rookie who isn't even a starter yet — and adding Jarrett Stidham at QB only to drop him a week later for Jaylen Wright summarizes the roster management situation perfectly.
