The Story
Week 31 through 14
vs week 2The only undefeated team with the best point differential in the league at +140, and they did it without breaking a sweat — 3-0 with wins over Critical Gase Theory, Q A-Johnston, and a nail-biter 127.9-124.7 over Kayes of Thunder in Week 3. The Kyren Williams trade is already paying dividends, and when Chase, Jefferson, and Lamb are all cooking simultaneously, this roster is genuinely terrifying.
“A 187. 9-point demolition of Q A-Johnston in Week 2 will do that for your power ranking — Slam is 2-0, leads the league in points scored at 329.”
Three-and-oh with the most consistent scoring in the league — 154, 153, and 141 over the last three weeks is a metronome, and that 153.8-150.6 escape act against Kyler Scullen in Week 2 shows this team can win ugly when needed. The Justinian Dynasty trade that netted a fistful of 2027 picks (R2, R3, R4) for Carson Wentz is sneaky great — Slippyfist won the present AND banked future capital without sacrificing a starter.
“Back-to-back wins including a white-knuckle 153.”
Miller Time is heating up at exactly the right moment — a 156-point Week 3 blowout of Substation Squad is the best single-week output of any undefeated team not named Penguins, and the schedule to start the year (Substation, Harvey, Coke(r) Fiends) has been friendly. Burrow, Walker, Zay Flowers, and Tee Higgins give this team a ceiling that can hang with anyone in the league.
“lmillz is quietly 2-0, beating Coke(r) Fiends by 2.”
AJ is managing the heck out of his team — 3-0 and cranking 139, 160, and 145 week over week, all while running two QBs in Mahomes and Purdy as his top KTC assets and Cam Skattebo as his best RB option. Look, it's working, and I won't argue with the results, but this is a team that lives and dies by the schedule and some waiver magic like Cincinnati DEF and Harrison Butker showing up in the moves log.
“AJ is 2-0 and managing the heck out of this team — 160 points in Week 2 to knock off Kayes of Thunder, and he's doing it with a starter KTC of 41,630 that ranks below most contenders.”
Yes, this is me, and yes, I'm putting myself fifth despite being 2-1 — the only loss was a Week 1 beat-down at the hands of the best team in the league, and wins over Justinian Dynasty (150.6) and Q A-Johnston (138.9) since then have me feeling cautiously optimistic. JSN at 9,999 KTC headlining a roster that also features Brock Bowers, Malik Nabers, and Tetairoa McMillan is a genuinely fun core, but the TE situation (I am currently cycling through Evan Engram, Darren Waller, and Gardner Minshew at different positions) is a cry for help.
“I'll go ahead and put myself at 7 — I got blown out by Slam in Week 1 (112.”
The Week 1 explosion of 198.5 points has masked some regression — Kyler Scullen has followed that up with 150 and 101 the last two weeks, and a 1-2 record is not where you want to be with this roster's ceiling. Josh Allen alone makes this team dangerous every week, but the WR room behind Nico Collins is thin enough that Matthew Golden and Sam LaPorta are doing heavy lifting.
“A 198. 5-point blowout of eddiemac0 in Week 1 had everyone paying attention, and then Josh Allen's 1-1 squad narrowly lost 150.”
Aaron has 398 points for the season — top five in the league — and somehow sits at 1-2, which is the cruelest kind of dynasty misfortune. The Week 3 heartbreaker against Ja'Marrch (124.7-127.9) really stings, and losing both Lamar Jackson weeks where opponents scored 160 and 127 against him isn't great luck; Lamar, James Cook, and Pickens give this team a real path back to contention.
“The 160-128. 4 loss to House of Cards stings, but Lamar Jackson (7,806 KTC), James Cook, and George Pickens make this a legitimate contender — the 1-1 record undersells the talent.”
The dynasty bones on this team are legitimately good — Ashton Jeanty, Drake Maye, Ladd McConkey, and Parker Washington is a young core that should age well — but the 0-3 record with a -172 point differential is the worst in the league and Bert's weekly production has cratered to 79 and 83 the last two weeks. The future is bright; the present is a dumpster fire.
“Getting dropped for 187. 9 by Slam-I-Am in Week 2 — putting up a brutal 79.”
Bijan Robinson and Omarion Hampton are a fun young RB duo, and Luther Burden and Carnell Tate give this team a real receiver developmental core to build around — but 325 points for on a 1-2 record tells you the starters aren't translating value to the scoreboard yet. Trading away a 2028 R2 and 2027 R3 to Todd to get Drew Lock at QB is... a choice, and it explains why the offense has stalled under 115 in back-to-back weeks.
“Bijan Robinson (9,931 KTC) and Omarion Hampton is one of the best young RB duos in the league, and the Week 2 win over Samsonite keeps the season from going sideways, but only scoring 100.”
Credit where it's due: the Week 3 win over Kyler Scullen (119.3-101.7) stops the bleeding at 1-2, and selling three 2027 picks to Mr. Slippyfist for Carson Wentz at QB is at least solving the immediate positional problem — though Matthew Stafford as the other starter is not exactly inspiring confidence. Tyler Warren, De'Von Achane, and Breece Hall form a nice core, but this roster needs a win streak in the worst way.
“Two losses by a combined 109 points, and selling Carson Wentz plus draft picks to Mr Slippyfist for three 2027 picks is a clear white flag on 2026 — which is probably the right call when you're putting up 95 and 99…”
After a promising 137-point Week 1, Harvey has put up 91 and 101 the last two weeks and dropped both — including a gut-punch loss to eddiemac0 in Week 3 (101.1-108.3) that pushed them to 1-2. The talent is real (Caleb Williams, Trey McBride, Drake London, Puka Nacua), but Puka sitting as a non-starter while the team is losing games suggests some lineup optimization issues that need to get ironed out fast.
“A 91. 9-point Week 2 collapse against Miller Time is rough after a solid Week 1 showing, and the 1-1 record now feels more fragile than it should for a team with Caleb Williams (8,140 KTC), Puka Nacua, and Trey McBride…”
A 1-2 team that somehow looks worse than their record — 308 total points is bottom three in the league, and the wins have come against Harvey and Coke(r) Fiends, not exactly murderers' row. Jalen Hurts and Christian McCaffrey are the foundation, but CMC at 30 years old is an age cliff waiting to happen, and the WR room of Jameson Williams and Romeo Doubs is not keeping anyone up at night.
“Back-to-back losses of 104. 5 and 95.”
Todd, buddy, the trades you've made this season — getting Kyren Williams' salary dump back, flipping picks back to Substation — have netted you Jalen Coker, Oronde Gadsden, and a 2027 R2, which is somehow both the most and least Todd move simultaneously. The roster is a 338-point, 1-2 product that runs on Jeremiyah Love, Cam Ward, and vibes, and the starter KTC of 29,111 is the lowest in the league by a wide margin — but hey, Todd broke 100 points twice, so progress.
“Todd is 1-1 and I genuinely don't know how to feel about it — he's been busy as a beaver in the trade market, flipping picks and adding Jalen Coker and Oronde Gadsden from Slam, then turning a Drew Lock + R4 from…”
Dead last at 0-3 with the second-fewest points in the league (281), and the Week 3 loss to House of Cards (93.8-145.2) was the most one-sided defeat dpiper has suffered yet. Jayden Daniels is the best player on this roster and he's listed as a non-starter, which tells you everything you need to know about the depth — D'Andre Swift, DK Metcalf, and Rhamondre Stevenson are doing the heavy lifting while Daniels watches from the bench.
“An 80. 2-point Week 2 stinker against Substation Squad to go 0-2, and dpiper's season total of 187.”
