The Story
Week 61 through 14
vs week 5The only undefeated team in the league at 6-0, and Slam-I-Am-69 is doing it with 918 points for — that's 28 more than the next-closest team. This week was a comfortable 122.2-86.5 win over eddiemac0, and with CeeDee Lamb, Jonathan Taylor, Kyren Williams, and DeVonta Smith all starting, the engine isn't showing any signs of sputtering.
“5-0, 796 points for, and a demolition of Miller Time in Week 5 to the tune of 171.”
The highest-scoring team in the league at 942 points for — yes, higher than the 6-0 team — and fatherofben has won three straight, including a 173.5-63.8 demolition of Coke(r) Fiends in Week 5. Josh Allen anchors the roster at nearly 10,000 KTC value, and with Matthew Golden and Bryce Young as high-upside pieces, this team is both winning now and building for later.
“The highest points-for total in the league at 800.”
I'm putting myself at #3 because I genuinely cannot help it — a 4-2 record with back-to-back wins over Kayes of Thunder and Coke(r) Fiends, and a trend running 9 points above my season average says I'm getting hot. JSN at a league-best 9,999 KTC, Brock Bowers at 8,324, Malik Nabers at 7,142 — the starting lineup value here is arguably the best in the league, though the lack of RB depth still wakes me up at night.
“I'm going to rank myself fifth and immediately regret it.”
Five wins, a positive trend of 2.6 points above season average, and a 144.4-110.2 beatdown of Q A-Johnston this week — lmillz89 is quietly humming along. Kenneth Walker landing at KC is a fascinating real-life development, Joe Burrow is a rock at QB, and Tee Higgins-Zay Flowers-Rashee Rice gives him one of the better receiver rooms in the league.
“4-1, trending up (+7. 5 above season average in recent weeks), and the only blemish is a Week 5 loss to the league's top team — there's no shame in that.”
Still 5-1, which is absolutely a credit, but a trend running 21 points below season average and a gut-punch 86.8-90.9 loss to House of Cards in Week 6 puts this one on notice. Jahmyr Gibbs at 9,994 KTC is the league's most valuable non-JSN asset, but Amon-Ra and Egbuka need to wake up — and the Baker Mayfield situation at QB is one sprained ankle away from being a real problem.
“Also 5-0, and the starting lineup KTC value here is genuinely terrifying — Jahmyr Gibbs at 9,999, Amon-Ra, Egbuka, and a young Denzel Boston means the ceiling is sky-high for years.”
AJ squeezed out a 90.9-86.8 win over Mr Slippyfist this week — a beautiful, classic AJ win that required maximum management and minimum points. The trend is running 17 points below season average and 90.9 is dangerously close to getting you beat most weeks; the good news is Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes, Garrett Wilson, and Chris Olave are all legit, so the ceiling is real even if the floor is… not.
“AJ is managing the heck out of this team — rotating Hunter Henry in and out, flipping kickers, churning the DEF spot — and yet the results are sliding (105.”
A 3-3 record looks modest, but Substation Squad is trending up — running 4.8 points above season average, and a 121.2-96.5 win over Justinian Dynasty stops any bleeding. Bijan Robinson at 9,983 KTC is the cornerstone, and Carnell Tate, Luther Burden, and Omarion Hampton are a genuinely exciting young trio — though that Wk2 trade giving Todd future seconds for Drew Lock and a 4th still stings a little.
“Bijan Robinson at 9,996 KTC is the dynasty anchor here, and Carnell Tate, Luther Burden, and Omarion Hampton form one of the most exciting young WR/RB trios in the league — this roster has legitimate upside in 2026 and…”
The 3-3 record masks a team that's trending in the right direction — 6.7 points above season average — and a 147.4-82.2 blowout of I Believe in Harvey in Week 5 showed some real upside. The concern is that De'Von Achane and Breece Hall are both benched in their starting lineups for a reason, and at 38 years old, Matthew Stafford is the most optimistic we've felt about a Rams QB in a long time, which is also saying something.
“Three straight wins including a 147. 4-82.”
A 3-3 record but only 103.2 points in a Week 6 win over Takes Juwan to Know Juwan — you are not beating playoff teams with that output. The real mystery is that Lamar Jackson and James Cook are sitting outside the starting lineup in the KTC rankings, which means aaron4real is either roster-constrained or playing 4D chess, and at a -31 point differential, it's not looking like the latter.
“Lamar Jackson is sitting on the bench — on the BENCH — in a SF league while Tyler Shough gets the start, and that alone explains a lot about this 2-3 squad's inconsistency.”
One win and five losses, but don't sleep on this roster — Drake Maye, Ashton Jeanty, Parker Washington, and Ladd McConkey give this team a genuinely elite future, and a trend running 14.6 points above season average is the biggest positive momentum in the league right now. The 155.3-point explosion against Takes Juwan in Week 5 is proof the firepower is there; the schedule just hasn't cooperated.
“The dynasty bones are excellent here — Drake Maye, Ashton Jeanty, Parker Washington, and Ladd McConkey is a core that'll be relevant for the next half decade — but a 1-4 record is a 1-4 record.”
Christian McCaffrey tops the roster at 5,400 KTC value, but at 30 years old on a 2-4 team, that window is closing faster than McCaffrey's injury report clears. The overall roster value at 53,396 is among the thinnest in the league, and a 86.5-point week getting beat by the 6-0 Penguins doesn't inspire confidence heading into the back half.
On paper this roster is fascinating — Caleb Williams, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, and Drake London are all 26 or younger and represent a serious future core — but at 1-5 with a trend running 4.6 points below season average, 'future core' is doing a lot of heavy lifting right now. Three straight losses, including an 82.2-point dud against Justinian Dynasty in Week 5, and the present reality is just rough.
“This is the cruelest situation in the league: the starting lineup KTC value here is the highest among the bottom half of the standings, with Puka Nacua, Caleb Williams, Trey McBride, Drake London, and Harold Fannin all…”
Todd. TODD. A 63.8-point Week 5 performance against Kyler Scullen is the kind of number you put on a trophy and hang in a museum of bad fantasy football. The roster has some intrigue — Jeremiyah Love and Jaxson Dart are top-two in KTC value but neither is starting — and to be fair, Todd did trade future seconds to Substation Squad for a bag of lukewarm picks, so the rebuild is real, if painful.
The only 0-6 team in the league, and I want to be kind, but Jayden Daniels, Quinshon Judkins, and D'Andre Swift are not exactly sending a message of 'I am competing.' A three-week average hovering right around 105 points and losses to literally everyone on the schedule — including Kayes of Thunder's 103-point week — means dpiper's most important dynasty asset right now might just be this season's upcoming draft position.
“0-5 and a points-against total of 715 — the schedule has not been kind, but neither has the roster, which is anchored by Jayden Daniels and a collection of RBs (D'Andre Swift, Rhamondre Stevenson) who are fine-ish in…”
