2026 Season Week 2
It's the Pop and (Drew) Lock-ness Monster!
Dear Heautontimoroumenos Members of the Dana Burger Dynasty League,
That was a fun week 1! After so many weeks of "what-ifs" and anticipation, some questions were answered over the weekend as we saw our first action of the 2026 season. This was also the first week of our league website running in full, and let me say, it's turning out better than expected! Admittedly the AI-generated power rankings could sound a bit better, but it does save me some time, and I think it scratches about 90% of the itch. Plus it takes my subjectivity out of it and leaves it up to a cold, emotionless robot (or data center). So cool!
What I will be doing in our weekly newsletters is highlighting some interesting notes and observations from around the league. I'll also be noting breakouts, injuries, and other things to keep the league abreast of players outside their rosters. And, as we tend to do, we will get into some prospect news as the season goes forward (although the prospect watch section is pretty nifty!). Let's get cracking!
